What was once primarily a diagnostic tool focused on ischemia detection has evolved into a comprehensive platform for physiological understanding, risk stratification, and precision cardiovascular care.,- In this context, the field has shifted from simply identifying disease to elucidating its underlying mechanisms, echoing Marie Curie’s insight that “nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood.”
