BRIEF HISTORY
Created in 2013, the journal Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia Imagem Cardiovascular (ABC Imagem Cardiovascular) is the official publication of the Cardiovascular Imaging Department of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology, succeeding the former Revista Brasileira de Ecocardiografia (Brazilian Journal of Echocardiography).
OPEN SCIENCE COMPLIANCE
This journal adheres to the Open Science Gold model.
MISSION
The journal aims to publish high-quality material, both scientific and clinical, from all areas of cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and nuclear imaging. The following types of articles are considered for publication: original research articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, cardiovascular imaging, case reports, reviews, viewpoints, brief communications, editorials, mini-editorials, letters to the editor, and special articles.
PUBLICATION ETHICS
ABC Imagem Cardiovascular follows ethical and accountability standards in scientific communication as recommended by national and international organizations, including the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Council of Science Editors (CSE), Equator Network, International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the SciELO Guide for Good Practices to Strengthen Ethics in Scientific Publication.
